Louiza Sofianopoulou selects beloved songs that express the love in the most popular languages of the world. She will sing in Greek, English, French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese, songs -contemporary and older- about love, from various musical styles, which have as common point those that love brings with it … joy, enthusiasm, admiration, hope, gratitude, but also pain, sadness, disappointment, madness!

Louiza Sofianopoulou was born and raised in Athens. She has studied music for many years and now is close to her diploma in piano. She has been working as a singer since the age of 17 and has appeared next to many well known Greek artists such as Manolis Famelos, Dionissis Tsaknis, Lavrentis Maxairitsas, Eleni Vitali, Melina Tanagri, Dimitra Galani, Foivos Delivorias, Stathis Drogossis, Zak Stefanou, Vassilis Kazoulis, Yannis Kotsiras and Filippos Pliatsikas.

She also has an ongoing collaboration with Manolis Famellos since 2003. She has performed jazz in small bars and music clubs. Since 2005 she has been performing traditional tango and Astor Piazzolla songs with the TANGartO quintet in outdoor concerts and music halls. She loves classical music, jazz, blues, soul, tango, trip hop, ambient, indie rock and anything that captures her ears…

She always faced music as a wonderful journey and now she is in search of her own identity as an artist.
