It is with great pleasure and honor to continue our collaboration with the Gyzi Megaron Festival.
A partnership that began last year with the participation of the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation’s Choir, continuing this year with one of Greece’s most dynamic, lively and active symphonic bands, the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation’s National Symphony Orchestra.
I would like at this point to excite Gyzi Megaron Cultural Centre’s initiative to offer exceptional concerts all year round to this island’s inhabitants and visitors, inviting the most important artists of our country, as well as great musicians from abroad.
It is undoubtedly a very important cultural event for the artistic community, irreplaceable not only for the island of Santorini but for the artistic world.
Finally, I would like to thank the artistic direction of the Festival and the Catholic Diocese of Thira for our collaboration, hoping that the Gyzi Megaron will continue to host such great events
