nternationally acclaimed soprano, Anna Nechaeva, is coming for a concert in Greece as a guest of the Gyzi Megaron Festival. Born in Saratov, Russia she has been a soloist with the Opera of St. Petersburg since 2003, where she appeared as Tatiana ( «Eugene Onegin», Tchaikovsky), Lauretta ( «Gianni Schicchi», Puccini) and performed the leading part in Puccini’s «Suor Angelica» and «Madama Butterfly», but also Xenia in Mussorgsky’s » Boris Godunov «.
From 2008 to 2011 she was a soloist at the Mikhaylovsky Theatre, where her repertoire included Nedda ( «I Pagliacci», Leoncavallo), Tatiana («Eugene Onegin», Tchaikovsky), Rusalka in Dvořák’s «Rusalka», and Rachel in Halevy’s «La Juive”. In 2012 she made her debut at the famous Bolshoi Theatre, as Nastasya («The Enchantress», Tchaikovsky). That same year she became a soloist at the Bolshoi Theatre, where she presented roles like Iolanta (Iolanta, Tchaikovsky), Liu (Turandot, Puccini), Yaroslavna (Prince Igor, Borodin), Elisabeth of Valois (Don Carlo, Verdi), Micaela (Carmen, Bizet), Doña Anna (The Stone Guest, Dargomyzhsky), while in Bolshoi’s show «The Fables of the Vixen, the Duckling and Balda » she presented Prokofiev’s » The Ugly Duckling «.
